Crested Butte Part 3

After the rafting trip we wanted to do something fun with
the kids so we went up to Crested Butte Mountain and
rode on the chair lift to catch an amazing view.  It was so
beautiful.  The song from the Sound of Music kept
coming to my mind, "The hills are alive, with the sound
of music."  It came close to the beauty of the Swiss Alps.
Weston riding on the lift with Haley.
Kelly with Kayla and Keeley.
Here is Robb and his family, Heather, Gibson and Grayson.

Here we all are at the top of the mountain.  I think it was
around 8,000 feet high up there.
My little brother Robb and his cutie pies Gibson and Grayson.
Me and the girls.  How did Robb get two boys and I got
three girls?
Gorgeous right?

Me with Keeley and Kayla coming down from atop the mountain.

What a cute boy...Grayson.
After riding the lift we decided to hang out at the ski
resort and do some of the activities they had going on.
There were bungy jumpers and a rock wall as well as
a mini golf course.  We got a play all ticket and just let
the kids have fun.  They have never done any of them
before and I was so proud of their courage and
accomplishment.  They even did flips on the bungy jumper.
Haley and Keeley both got to the top of the rock wall
as well as Gibson.  They were really enjoying themselves.

Fly like an eagle Kayla.

Way to go Haley!  She did it about three more times.

Haley said something profound before she went up the
first time.  She was talking to her sisters because they were
expressing their fear of climbing up and she said to them,
"You can't let fear run your life or you won't have
any experiences."  Have I said that to her before?
Good job Gibson!

Kayla and Keeley taking stab at it.  They were so cute.

I asked how tall the wall was but the guy didn't have a clue.
I am thinking it was at least twenty feet high or more.
Kayla says, "I don't care if I didn't make it to the top."
Playing a round of mini golf.  It was a fun filled day in
Crested Butte.  After dinner we headed down to a town
called Gunnison and watched some fireworks.  Pretty
amazing day, best 4th of July I have ever had I think.
