Pirates of the Carribean in my front yard!

For about a week we had a great site on our horizon.
They were filming Pirates of the Carribean near Ko'olina.
We could see the Black Pearl from our porch about every
day that week.  We went down to the beach to get better
pictures though.  Too bad I didn't get to meet Johnny.
I can't wait to see the movie and try to figure out which portion
was filmed while here.

Dole Plantation visit

We went to the Dole plantation with Stephanie her Mama and Gabby.
It was a beautiful day and we really enjoyed ourselves.  I just can't
believe we didn't get a picture of the delicious pineapple ice cream
we ate.  YUM!
Stephanie and Cortney...aren't we cute!
What are they looking at?
That's what they are looking at.  A bunch of lazy fish who
get fed all day long who fight over the food.  They were huge.
Our fun train ride.  The girls were wanting to take the
pictures so that is why there are fingers in them.
Steph and her Mama.
We took a tour of the garden and this is what we found.
What a fun little day trip.

Fourth of July Sunday

Grandma Leslie sent these dresses for their birthday this year
and they certainly came in handy. They were perfect for a
4th of  July Sunday.  The girls looked so cute in their red white
and blue.  They were posing it up good too.
Haley, my little model.  Happy 4th everyone!

Third of July Parade?

Since the 4th of July was on a Sunday this year we had to
have our parade on Saturday the 3rd.  It was odd since there
wasn't any celebrating that evening but it was still fun.
The twins decorated their scooters with whatever we found
in the craft closet and Haley her big girl bike.  We invited our
little neighbor friends to come with us since they didn't have
anything else to do that day and were completely jealous
that the girls got to decorate their bikes and scooters.
We rode around and had some breakfast and then headed home.
What a fun 3rd of July!

Who is who????
Even Daddy is lookin' festive!
My girls are leading the pack and setting the pace.
We all love doughnuts!

Dinosaurs at the Mall?

They had this dinosaur exhibit up at the mall over summer.
Aaron and I took the girls to go and see them and ride the train.
The girls loved it.  We had our friend Gabby with us too.  We
all had such a good time they asked to go back again the next day.
I wish I were small enough to go on the train.  That looks fun!
Super Cool!  Loved it.
This was while waiting to catch the skycab.  There was a
couple there with some birds and the girls got to pet them.
