May Day Performance at Barber's Point

Every year Barber's Point has a May Day performance.
This year I got some good pictures because I had my friend
Tracy helping me watch the girls while I walked around trying
to get the best view of the show.  It is really a cute show.
The kids do such a good job.  They come out and open with
the royal court, a prince and princess representing each island
of Hawaii and then the King and Queen come out.  Then there
are dances by the court and the hula group and then each class
does a dance to a song.  I really loved the Furlough Friday song!
Haley performed in the Maori, Hula and Tahitian dances.
This is her class dance.  She was truly into it this year.  She
knew every word to the song and every move to the dance.
She did such a great job I couldn't help but laugh out loud.
They did their dance to the song Taro Patch Twist.
This was the Hula performance.  The girls didn't practice this
one enough because as soon as they got out there, every single
one of the girls forgot the moves.  It was torturous to watch
because the song seemed to go on forever.  I felt really bad for
the girls.  They looked cute though!  Good try girls!
The Tahitian was much better.  It was a really short dance
and the girls have done it before so they did a great job.
Seriously, can they get any more adorable?
I really enjoyed watching the performance but by the time
it was over I was so thirsty and hot that the girls and I
had to stop at McDonald's and get us some lunch and a drink.
It turned out to be quite a fun and entertaining morning.

No more training wheels for Kayla!

The other day Kayla came to me and said she wanted to ride
her bike without training wheels.  I took them off and after just
one try she had it down.  It was super simple.  Way to go Kayla!

Hop Scotch was a HIT!

The twins got a water hop scotch for their birthday.
The girls set it up and within minutes the entire neighborhood
was over playing in the water and having snacks.  It was
a huge hit.  Too bad the thing only lasted one week.
The girls jumped too hard and popped the things.
Haley had trouble playing nice.  She didn't like that the girls
were pretending to play kittens and wanted them to actually
hop on the hop scotch.
"Haley, you are so pretty when you throw a tantrum!"
"How many girls can you fit on a hop scotch?"

Birthday Party #2

The day after the playgroup party we set up a party at
the Ice Palace for some friends that didn't get to come
to playgroup and for Haley to be there.  The girls really
wanted to go to Ice Palace for their birthday.  They are
recently obsessed with ice skating.  They have really gotten
the hang of it now that we have been about 3 times in the
past four months.  I tried to get some good pictures but
ended up only getting a few since the lighting was so bad
in there.  Also, you can't take pictures on the ice and have
to shoot through the ceramic windows.  Didn't work out
too well for me.  They looked a lot cuter on the ice than
the pictures show.  Thanks for the hats and gloves Grandma!
Kayla skated so fast she it was like she has been doing it for years.
Our friend Gabriella.
"Good job Lily."
"Love the Hannah Montana hat Haley."
Our neighbor friend Tyler.
Tyler's sister Madison.  She is always so stylish!
Nova-Lee had to get in a picture with her friends.  So cute!
