Many thanks to Family, Friends, and Santa!

This is too long coming but I have not updated my
blog in a while.  However, I wanted to thank everyone
who sent the girls, Aaron and me presents.  They were
greatly appreciated.  We couldn't have had such a
wonderful Christmas without all of your help and love.
We all loved our gifts, plentiful gift cards and Christmas letters!
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Much love, the Nadigs!
Santa brought the girls the easel and the keyboard.
All the other presents were from our wonderful
families.  One funny thing I heard this year was from
Keeley.  She kept asking me if it was okay to want
boys toys.  She wanted a huge roaring dinosaur and
a dump truck.  I told her she could have anything she
wanted, not just girl toys.  She was so excited when
she actually got a transformer and dump truck.
The aftermath of greatness.

A Koch Christmas Eve

Like last year we went over to the Koch's house for Christmas
Eve.  They had bought a bouncy house a while back and thought
it would be fun for the kids to play on it while we adults got to
chat a little while.  They had so much fun we couldn't get them off.
It was such a great Christmas Eve.  Thanks Koch Family!
"Kayla, feet first my dear!"
"Okay Mom, how is this?"
This is a rare occasion when Aaron and Haley actually cuddle.
They are usually at eachother's nerves.  How cute they are!
Dinner was amazing.  Molly did all of it and it couldn't have
turned out better.  The ribs were awesome and the rest just as good.
Last year the Standage Family introduced us to the tradition
of hitting a pinata on Christmas Eve.  We decided it was a
great tradition and adopted it this year too.  Thanks for that Amber!
It was my job to bring the cookies for Santa.  The kids got
to eat some and a bowl of sugar to go with them.  They ate
about three each before they actually decided they should
make some for Santa.
"You can never have too much sugar Mom!"

Hula Christmas Assembly

Haley did her hula performance in front of the whole school
and did a fantastic job.  She may be haole but she sure is a
good hip shaker just like her mother.  She worked really hard
and did such a good job.  I was so proud of her.

Winter Dance Performance

It wasn't a huge production like last year but the girls had
a mini dance performance for the parents.  They just wanted
to show us what they have been learning.  Keeley and Kayla
have class first so I took lots of pictures and they are adorable.
They call this the peepee squat.  J/K
"Teacher, did I do it right?"
"Hey...what's up Mom, I'm back here."
"Look at me Mom...I am so attentive in class. Not like Keeley."
"Oh brother, is this over yet?"
"Did we practice that?  You really expect me to do it like that!"
"Okay, I like tap."
Haley has the attention span of about a second so for her
to focus in class is a miracle.  Although I have to admit
that some of these pictures truly remind me that she is my child.
"Look at this amazing pose Mom."
"Not really a ballet pose but really awesome Haley."
These are her spins...she was so serious about them.
Can we say HAM!

Christmas at Pearlridge Shopping Center

Aaron and I took the girls to go see Santa and ride
on the train at Pearlridge Mall.  We go at least once
every year and they always have the REAL Santa!
Good thing we live here and not somewhere else where
you would just get a fake Santa.  YES, that beard and
hair are all real!  Anyhow, Keeley is still afraid of him
and wouldn't go near him unless Mommy sat with her.
I know I use that excuse but the real reason I like to
get into the picture is so I can whisper what I want for
Christmas in his ear without anyone knowing.  It works
too, I got everything I asked for.  Thanks Santa!
Here is the cute little train they ride the kids around in.
It is crazy to look at these pictures because we have been
taking the girls to ride on this since Haley was about 1 1/2
years old.  Now look how big they are.  Pretty soon they
will be too big to ride it.  How do they grow up so fast?

Grinch Fest at Borders

I took the girls to a reading of the "The Grinch Stole Christmas"
at Borders.  It was a fun little gathering for the kids.  They had
a really good time too.  They listened to the story, colored some
pictures and even got prizes.  They were a little disappointed
that the actual Grinch himself didn't show up though.  P.S.  see
that huge dog in front of the girls?  That is the best kind of pet!
I thought about getting them one for Christmas but we already
have a million and thirteen stuffed animals, one of them being
a huge stuffed lion.  They were in-love with those big dogs!
It was suprisingly fun and I am sure I will take them to more of
those readings at Borders.  I know they had a Fancy Nancy
one not too long ago and now I wish I had gone!  Very Fun!

Yes, it is December!

The girls dragged out the pool because I told them it was
too cold to go to the beach.  I knew as soon as we got
there they would jump in and be finished in five minutes.
I didn't want to get everything ready to go to the beach
and then not spend time there.  So their solution was to
pull the pool out and get some rays in the driveway.
Haley, you would probably get more rays in the sun!
Look at my cute little sunbathers, and yes, it is December!
