Haley's May Day Hula Performance

Haley got to perform with her hula group at the May Day

school performance. The girls were good and watched

the entire show in order to get a frozen yogurt at Costco

afterwards. Haley also did a dance with her class to a song

she practiced for weeks. It was a really cute performance

but was very hot out in the sun. Thank goodness for ice cream.

Good job Haley for practicing so hard and doing such a great job.

Not Halloween makeup

One day after church the girls were playing in the bathroom.
I asked what they were up to and this is what emerged from
behind the door. They had gotten into my makeup and decided
to become cats for the day. So cute and creative!

Thank you Haley for all the artwork on your faces. Good
thing you learned to draw in kindergarten this year!

Family celebration

On Thursday night I decided to take the girls to
Chuck E Cheese because they were begging for
months before their birthday to go. I had to work
on Friday which was their birthday so we went
on Thursday night instead. They had a good time
playing games and eating pizza. Okay, they loved
the games anyhow. It was all about them right.
After Chuck E Cheese we went to Baskin Robins
to get an ice cream since I wasn't going to make
them a cake after having all the cupcakes at the
playgroup party. It was a really fun evening with
the family.

On Friday we weren't going to do anything but make dinner
and let them open presents from family members. However,
I was tortured into making a cake even though I didn't have
plans to do so. I whipped one up quickly before I ran off to
work. This is my last minute beauty. It had to be pink!

Playgroup Magical Fairy Party

Happy 4th Birthday to the twins. They are so excited to be
big girls now, even though they still want to suck their thumbs.
This year for their birthday I decided on a magical fairy theme.
It was really last minute but it came out cute. They are really
into unicorns and horses and fairies so that is what I rolled with.
I tried not to purchase anything and only use what I already had.
It turned out great. I had decorations, costumes for them and
even used food that was already in the fridge. I celebrated on
Thursday with playgroup so they felt like they got a party with
their friends. It was just easier to plan it on a day I already knew
everyone would come. We had peanut butter and jelly sandwiches,
carrots, apples, and of course cupcakes. The only problem is that in
Hawaii, frosting melts like crazy, so most of the cupcakes were
eaten before the lunch. After eating we had the playground to
play at and bubbles that kept us busy for a good long time.
They opened presents and had a really good time with all of their
friends. Thanks everyone for coming to celebrate Keeley and Kayla's
4th birthday. Thanks for all the great gifts too. They loved them!

to have it since it was smokin' hot that day!

No expense family pets

There are cats that hang out in the field around our house and
this is what came of it. Seven little kittens hang out in our yard
now. They are super cute but I am glad I don't have to feed them.
We even saw the mother cat bring a mouse for them to eat one
day. They do love playing in my garden though, little mess makers.
The girls watch them play and say they want to keep them, but
the best pet is the one you don't have to pay for!
