Haley turned eight and she chose to go to a place called
Elitch Gardens in Denver. It is an amusement park and
water park all in one. They have a couple of big rides but
you have to be 48" or more to ride them. Thank goodness
Haley was able to go on all but one. Her first experience
with giant roller coasters, she was excited and scared!
Mommy made her a special breakfast for her birthday and
had it ready when she woke up. She was super happy.

the ferris wheel so the girls had to hold her hands.
We went down a ride and thought we would get a little
sprinkle of water but ended up soaking wet! Good thing
it was really hot that day, like 90 degrees.

She went on this one too. It made two loops and then
went backward two loops. Much worse than the first
roller coaster we went on. She was super brave for eight!
Now this is what I call a water park. It was awesome for
the kids but the water was stinking freezing. SERIOUSLY!
The girls didn't last long in here just because it was so cold.
We ended up just going back to the park part and riding
more rides. I am sure it would have been a blast had it
been warmer water.

We got her a mini one since there were only a couple of us.
