Paet Playtime!

We had a funfilled day with the Paets and lets just say,

the kids really enjoyed themselves. Kaleb loved shooting
for baskets and riding on the spider man trike!

They were playing outside racing down the driveway.

Gabriel was having a blast going as fast as his little trike

would carry him. Go Gabriel!

After the trikes got boring, then they just raced down

on foot. Haley enjoyed racing, but she just couldn't win.

Keeley on the other hand tried her hand at body boarding

down the driveway...she didn't get very far.

The day was a constant competition..friendly competition.

They just had to see who was taller. I had to take a picture

so that they could see for themselves who was taller.

Looks like a tie to me!

Lunch time was a success too. Kaleb enjoyed the cheese

balls and the hot dogs. They all ate and had a good time

while doing so. Hooray for playdates.

Happy Thanksgiving Yall!

Our Thanksgiving seemed very small and quiet. We didn't have any family in town and we only had one other couple over for dinner. My mother's friend Ann and her husband Don came over and brought with them cranberry sauce and African fried potatoes (Yummy). I had prepared most of the stuff the day before, cutting veggies and making dips. I tried to get as much as I could done on Wednesday so I didn't have to worry about cooking all day on Thursday. It turned out to be a great idea. While Aaron was in the kitchen making the turkey and stuffing, I was watching the kids. Then I went in and did the sweet potatoes and corn. It all tasted delicious. I love Thanksgiving.
Haley and I had made special napkin rings and name settings for fun. They looked adorable on our table. Family Fun website is the bomb! Oh, a little info...Haley was completely attached to Don the entire afternoon and I am sure he was ready to go home by the time he left. He had Haley jumping on him as well as two naked little babies attacking him. My girls are potty training and lets just say that they can't keep their clothes on for more than five seconds at a time. I tried and tried to keep their diapers on at least, but Keeley would just rip it off as soon as I turned around. My efforts were no good. So it was a very festive and NAKED Thanksgiving for our guests.
Anyhow, I am thankful for my beautiful family. I am thankful for my many blessings. I hope everyone felt as blessed as I did this beautiful Thanksgiving season.

Needin' some air!

I come in and check on Haley every night before I go to bed. One night I walked in and found Haley cuddled at the end of her bed next to the fan. I guess it must have been a little hot and she did all she could to get cooled off. It was just so funny to me because she couldn't have gotten any closer to that fan. I took that as a sign to turn on her air conditioning. Poor thing.

Car wash turned kid wash!

The other day I was trying to keep the girls entertained and since the little pool wasn't blown up I decided to just get out a bucket and let them wash the car with me. They always love playing in the water. So after a couple of ...seconds, the bucket was no longer being used to help wash the car but as a swimming pool. Keeley (who is in the pink this time) jumped in first and the others just followed. They were having so much fun but as you can tell by the pictures there wasn't much room to move around. Keeley is going to be my actress. She has always had the best facial expressions, even when she was a little baby. I love these pictures of her. They really show off her personality.

Kayla says, "Okay, not so comfortable."
Keeley is all smiles when it comes to water.
ARRGGG....just call me Captain Keeley.
"Just move over here, put your head here, okay almost got it....
...wait, you are sitting on my foot. I told you not to move."
"Those bubbles are not from the electric jets"
"Keeley, that's sick, I mean hilarious."

The Lion King

On November 3rd Aaron, Haley and I went to see the Lion King
on Broadway in Honolulu. I was a little apprehensive about taking
Haley to a three hour show but she did so great. She was ready
to go at intermission but she sat it out and enjoyed the end of the
show. She really liked it at first, the animals and the songs, she
was singing along and everything. I on the other hand knew I would
really enjoy it. However, I think I was even more pleasantly supprised
than expected. It was truley amazing. The costumes were so
incredible and the dancers were so good. They moved just like the
real thing. My favorite costumes were probably the hienas, followed
by Pumba. They looked just like the movie. I am pretty sure
Aaron liked it too. We all had a great time at the show. Haley got to
spend the day with Mommy and Daddy all by herself. She loved
that the most I think. She never gets us to herself anymore.

Obsessions with layering

This is for Angela...
Haley and the girls love to layer their clothing.
You wouldn't know it by looking at her, but
she actually has like 12 pairs of socks on each
leg along with about 8 shirts and two hats.
She had so many socks that she looked like she
had a cast on. So hilarious.
