We wanted to do something worth remembering on the
4th of July instead of just going to the parade and getting
candy from the floats. I sent the girls to the parade with
my Dad and Auntie Charlene while Kelly, Robb, Weston,
Morgan and I went rafting. This time we had some real
rapids! The guy at the counter told us that we wouldn't
get that wet and that we should just use a splash jacket
so that is exactly what we did. Forward to the end of the
post and you will realize that we are completely drenched!

We are still dry here!
Me and my little brother Robb after the first part of the
trip. We were already soaked and completely numb.
"Weston...keep us afloat please, the rest of us are under water!"
Robb and Weston taking a little dunk.
Even though they were already wet, they still
had a shock when they entered that freezing water.
Morgan and Robb taking a turn in the front.
The last leg of the trip the guide told me to ride the front
like a bull and if you know me, I never back down from a
challenge. I jumped up there knowing I would get a massive
dunk and hoping Morgan would hang on to me if I fell.
The only problem was that Morgan was the one pulling me
down instead of keeping me from falling in. Thanks Mo!
There's Morgan pulling me in!
I am definitely NOT dry anymore! It was so fun.
We had such a good time. I know a lot of the pictures
look the same but if you look at the facial expressions you
can see that the water was shockingly cold even after we
were already wet.
Next time we are going on a level 5 rapid.
Kelly came out with a few dry spots on her shirt so Robb
and Weston had to give her a little love and make sure she
was as wet as the rest of us.
