Life takes you places you never expected to go.
This last month I have had the opportunity to become
something I am sure I said I would NEVER be.
Last September I got my substitute teacher certificate.
I wanted a job that paid me for my time and one
that would allow me to still be home with my kids
when needed. Their school schedule is crazy sometimes
and I don't want to constantly be calling in just to have
someone to watch them. I know, I have said I don't
want to be a teacher, I don't even think I am good at it.
However, after only a month, starting in January I was
asked to be a full time substitute. One of the kindergarten
teachers had to go on maternity leave sooner than expected
due to pregnancy complications with twins. They asked
me to be the new teacher until the end of the year.
That means that for more than three months...I am a
kindergarten teacher. I can't believe it either. It
has been fun, exhausting and quite an adventure thus far.
I am just happy to have the opportunity to work, make
some money and still be home with my own children.
It is times like these that I think to myself, "I really don't
have a clue what Heavenly Father has in store for me."
He is always pulling stunts like this on me, twins, teaching...etc.
I think I know myself and then I realize I have a lot to learn!
Like I said, "You never know where life will take you."

Wow! Well, that is exciting and a huge change! Congratulations! And that seems like something you would be so good at.
