On the 100th day of school they have a day called
Math Day! The girls are supposed to make shirts to
get into the spirit of the day and this is what we came
up with. I totally forgot to do it the night before so
I had to do it in about 10 minutes before we left for
school. The only problem with Kaylas shirt is that I
couldn't find any markers that weren't washable. I told
her not to sweat and not to get water on it. It still ran
down the shirt but it worked. She had fun and was
super proud of her shirt. Keeley just wore Haley's from
last year. Poor Haley was sick with the flu and couldn't
go that day. Thank goodness for me because my creative
math juices ended with Kayla's shirt.
Keeley's says, 1+1= fun and has shape pictures on the
back and said geometry. Kayla's says, 2,4,6,8...I love
to calculate and the back was meant to say
the square root of twins = KJN + KMN (their initials).
I was in a huge hurry and it wasn't even dry when we
walked out the door...so give me a break on that one!
Next year I will have to do it before the morning of.
What a slacker mom! Aren't they cute though?
