When does the sun set?

I forget that the sun doesn't set on the mainland until 10:00pm during

the summer months. It was hard getting the girls to go to bed on

most nights because they thought it was still daytime. In Hawaii

it is dark at 7:30pm even during summer. I usually get them down

by 8:00pm at home and in San Fran they just stayed up until it got

dark. This created problems because they also got up when the sun

came up at 6:00am. They didn't get enough sleep the entire three

weeks we were there. Poor little girls were exhausted and so was I.
