Making waves at the Lake

Our friends Paul and Leeann took us to the lake for a day in the sun

and water. I haven't been water skiing since 2002 and was a little

nervous and also very excited. They didn't however actually have

any water skis. They only had wake boards and I will admit that I

have never been wake boarding or snow boarding for that matter. I

have ever only used two separate legs, not attached to control my

movements. It took me a couple of tries to get up and comfortable

but I am proud to say I did it and it was tons of fun. I wish I had more

time to get good at it. We had such a fun day with our friends on the

lake. We swam and danced and rode on the comfy couch...which popped

by the way. Sorry for that guys, it wasn't Aaron, it was just your crazy

driving Paul! The girls had a great time and were totally worn out!

It was a nice sunny day but it was windy so every time we

got out of the water we got really cold. Poor girls endured

it like champs.

Keeley wasn't comfortable in the life jacket at first. She did

get used to it later and had a blast knowing she could swim

and float without even trying. Kayla loved her life jacket and

wanted to take it home...mostly because it had pink on it!

She said to me, "Mom, can I take this home?"

"No Kayla, it isn't our life jacket."

"Okay Mommy, just kidding."

It was really cute how she said it. She loved that life jacket.

Keeley, nice jump!

"Daddy are you sleeping or just really enjoying the comfy couch?"

Now everyone has figured out the comfy couch is really comfy.

Haley, Mommy, and Keeley! "FASTER Paul, FASTER!"

Sorry, not gettin' up this time...

Is this going to do it? Nice face.

"Hooray...I did it!" Get a tan on those thighs Cortney!

"Lookin' like a PRO!"

Poor Kayla was so exhausted from playing so hard.

What a cutie right?

Can't forget you Keeley! You are cute too!
