Flyin' high at the kite festival!

This isn't a very good picture of the kites, but there were quite
a few out there that day. We were trying to think of something
to do with Auntie Kelly on her last day with us and this is what
we ended up doing. We went out to the middle of nowhere and
watched people fly kites. It was a small little festival with only
a couple of booths and food and one bouncy house. The best part
was that there was a huge park surrounding the kite festival that
the girls didn't want to leave. I could hardly tear them away so
we could go get lunch. We spent at least a good hour and a half
just playing on the equipment. They had a blast and even Kelly
and I got a spin on the space disc. Quite an amazing park. I wish
we had parks like that around our house. Super cool!
There were kite experts out there too that were cool to watch.
There were four men and each had a row of kites. They would
do acrobats in the air with the kites to music. I thought it took
a lot of talent and practice to do that. I really enjoyed our little
afternoon out at the kite festival. Sorry it wasn't all that exciting
Auntie Kelly. Thank you for spending time with us!
