Auntie Kelly had the day off and we decided to head to
the Denver Zoo. It was massive and took all day to look
at everything. The girls were great though. They never
complained and just went with it, even though it was really
hot and tiring. We saw a lot of strange African creatures
we have never even heard of before and they even had a
huge aquarium and river section. The animals were amazing
but it seems that on a hot day in the middle of summer just
about every animal in the zoo has their back to you sleeping.
I think they do it on purpose because they are tired of people
taking their pictures. It made it difficult to get a decent picture
of them though. The girls even got to ride on a carousel at
the end of the day. Check it out if you are in Denver, totally
worth the visit!
This turtle was seriously bigger than the girls are.
