So, Santa made it to our house with quite a load.
The girls were in no want for presents after
Christmas morning. They came downstairs and
found that Santa had come to our house even though
we didn't have a fireplace. Haley asked, "Mom,
does Santa come through the door when you don't
have a fireplace?" Of course he does! Where else
would he come in at? They got a lot of presents.
There were barbies, barbies and more barbies.
Then there were dogs and clothes and all sorts of fun
toys. They played with every single one before the
day was through. They were really enjoying themselves.
Even Mommy got spoiled by Santa. He brought her
a big kid toy of her own. There was this awesome
purple dyson vaccum waiting for me to use it, and let
me tell you I did...more than once that day. I also
got some new Maui Jim sunglass'. The two things I
wanted were wrapped up for me to open on Christmas
morning. SCORE! It was a fantastic morning even
if I felt like I was opening boxes all day long. There was
one disappointment however. Haley had asked Santa
for a pink Nintendo DS and it wasn't there. She said,
"I got everything I wanted...except a Nintendo DS."
I said, "Sometimes Santa runs out. Everyone wanted
that this year." So to make up for it, we took back
half of the barbies and a few other random items and
had enough to get her a DS and some games. It was
okay this year, but next year Santa better get it right!
Thanks everyone for all the wonderful gifts and love!
