Christmas Eve at the Koch's

Christmas Eve was a big hit this year. We went
over to some friend's house and had dinner. The
Kochs had us over at their house and then the
Standage family joined us as well. It was a well
planned out enjoyable evening. We got there at 5:30
and ate dinner right away. Then the kids had a pinata
to break down from the Standage family tradition.
The thing was so tough we couldn't get it to break
even after Aaron took some swings. Troy eventually
went and got some serious equipment and we all
held our breath that none of the babies got in the way.
It finally broke at the neck and I had to dump the
candy onto the floor for them to get any. After
the pinata we decorated cookies for Santa. That was
a big hit and a big mess. Actually it was a lot of fun.
I am sure Santa got a good sugar high that night.
We ate dessert, cheesecake, sundays, and cookies...
whatever your heart desired. It was a great evening.
Thanks for the fun gang! When we got home we had
the girls hang their ornaments and open one present,
pajamas of course. Then we had to get them to bed.
Amazingly Haley was the first to fall asleep.

Easy on the sprinkles guys!
