There was a week between Summer Fun and School
so my neighbor and friend Tracy and I decided to
take the girls on a day trip over to Bellows Beach.
It turned out to be an incredible day with gorgeous
weather. The waves were perfect for the girls and
the sun perfect for...getting fried! We had sunscreen
applied about three times during the day and wore
shirts but still seemed to come home looking like
bright red tomatoes. Keeley and Kayla weren't
too bad but I forgot to coat their hands with
sunscreen and then they had swollen red hands.
We hung out riding our boards all day, brought
lunch and had a fantastic time. We are more than
happy to accompany anyone who wants to go the
other side of the island and hang out at Bellows.
Seriously, BEST DAY EVER! I love Hawaii!
