May Day Performance at Barber's Point

Every year Barber's Point has a May Day performance.
This year I got some good pictures because I had my friend
Tracy helping me watch the girls while I walked around trying
to get the best view of the show.  It is really a cute show.
The kids do such a good job.  They come out and open with
the royal court, a prince and princess representing each island
of Hawaii and then the King and Queen come out.  Then there
are dances by the court and the hula group and then each class
does a dance to a song.  I really loved the Furlough Friday song!
Haley performed in the Maori, Hula and Tahitian dances.
This is her class dance.  She was truly into it this year.  She
knew every word to the song and every move to the dance.
She did such a great job I couldn't help but laugh out loud.
They did their dance to the song Taro Patch Twist.
This was the Hula performance.  The girls didn't practice this
one enough because as soon as they got out there, every single
one of the girls forgot the moves.  It was torturous to watch
because the song seemed to go on forever.  I felt really bad for
the girls.  They looked cute though!  Good try girls!
The Tahitian was much better.  It was a really short dance
and the girls have done it before so they did a great job.
Seriously, can they get any more adorable?
I really enjoyed watching the performance but by the time
it was over I was so thirsty and hot that the girls and I
had to stop at McDonald's and get us some lunch and a drink.
It turned out to be quite a fun and entertaining morning.
