Mommy plays dress up
Keeley and Kayla looked so cute for church today I had to snap some shots. I hardly ever get them to put anything on their heads and I was glad when they kept their hats on so I could get a photo of them. It was raining again this morning and a little cold so we put on tights and little sweaters. They looked so cute. I never get to dress them this way. Makes me feel like I have girls and not little dirty rugged boys. Kayla is in the checkered hat and Keeley in the black hat.
Getting used to the rules of soccer!
After a couple weeks of rain and wind the sun came out. On Saturday the sun was shining and the wind was non-existing. It was muggy and humid and very hot for 9:00am. The twins stole my chairs and sat in the shade of the umbrellas. Haley has been in soccer for about six weeks now and last week she finally decided she got it. She was in the action chasing the ball and really trying to get it away from the other girls. It is amazing how understanding can change the way you play. She is doing so good and I am so proud of her. She isn't the fastest one on the team and therefore doesn't always get to kick the ball, so her favorite thing to do is kick off and kick from the sidelines when the ball goes out. She has to get her share of kicks during the game!

Valentine's Dress Up
Grandma Leslie sent some adorable little dresses and shoes for the girls for Valentine's Day. The girls just loved them and wore them for three days straight. I had to wash the dresses so they could wear them to church on Sunday. They looked so adorable I couldn't help but take some pictures of them. Keeley is in the white bow and Kayla in the pink. Thanks Grandma Leslie. We love you too!

Dressing up for Grandma Leslie
Keeley and Kayla enjoying Valentine's Dinner alone. Mommy made bacon wrapped scallops with hollandaise sauce, roasted potatoes and salad with pear, pecan and parmesean cheese with a yummy mustard vinigrette dressing. We also had apple cider and the girls were in love with that. They would have drank a bottle each if I let them.
"Yah, good thing we don't have to share with anyone."
Valentine performance
Haley had a dance performance in ballet a couple of days before Valentine's and this is what we got. We had to make a treat to bring, so we made mini cupcakes. Haley for some reason didn't have her ballet slippers on. They had the girls upstairs and were helping them get their shoes on but somehow Haley came down without any on. I didn't even notice until I went back and looked at the pictures. She had fun though.
Boys or girls?
My girls are always getting into trouble. That is why I can not keep up with them. I think sometimes they are just like all the rascal boys I know, dangerous and adventurous. I am on my toes all of the time. If you notice, they are very dirty and then they wanted to go for a drive.
