Kayla the Faker!

Can we say HAM??? I have decided that Kayla is going to be my actress. She has done this for a long time, but the other day I just couldn't stop laughing. She was playing with Keeley on the couch cushions and ended up throwing a sippy cup at Keeley's head. Keeley started screaming and I went to pick her up and comfort her. Kayla saw this and so she climbed up on the couch and threw the sippy cup at her own head. She started crying, but it was the most fake cry you could ever imagine. I told her to stop throwing things at her own head and stop faking it. So what did she do, she threw the cup at her foot and started the fake crying again. She did this about four times trying to get my attention. I am not sure why she thinks she has to immitate others when they get hurt. She always does it when Keeley will fall down and start crying too. She throws her body down on the ground as if she had just tripped and starts to fake cry. I just can't help but crack up laughing. It is so dramatic. I am not sure if it is a sympathy twin thing or if she just feels like she needs attention too. Funny Kayla!

Funny Story

Okay, so this isn't actually Haley, but it is a cute picture. Anyhow, I wanted to post a little funny story about Haley in my blog. I just want to remember it because it is something a kid would say that you just don't want to forget. It was so cute. So, I was getting Haley to bed and we were saying our prayers together. She was too tired to say them with me, so I just started saying them for her. I guess I had been rambling a lot because all of the sudden she whispers, "come on, get on with it girl," in my ear. It was so funny. She just wanted to go to sleep and didn't care what my prayers involved. I thought to myself, where do kids get these things. They never forget anything they hear. So cute.
*I figured out where she got the "get on with it girl" line. We were watching Peter Pan the other day and he is sitting on the bed letting Wendy sew on his shadow and she won't stop talking...he says, "Girls talk to much," and then goes on to say..."get on with it girl." Kids sure do pick up everything they hear don't they?
